House Wash in Southern California

Southern California homes collect dust, red dirt, cobwebs and sprinkler stains, and shaded walls grow mildew and algae. A house wash brings the exterior back to its real color, and it is a smart step before painting, selling or hosting.
How we do it
We use a soft wash: a cleaning solution is applied at low pressure, allowed to dwell, then rinsed gently. That cleans stucco and siding without forcing water behind it or etching the paint, which high pressure can do. Plants are pre-wet and rinsed after, windows and doors are rinsed so solution does not dry on glass, and outdoor outlets and light fixtures are avoided. Eaves, soffits and the garage door are included so the whole exterior matches.
Surfaces we clean
Stucco, vinyl and fiber cement siding, wood siding, painted trim, eaves and soffits, garage doors, front doors, block walls and stone veneer.
What it removes
Dust and dirt, cobwebs and spider nests, mildew and algae on shaded walls, bird droppings, sprinkler hard water stains on lower walls, and chalky oxidation on some siding.
Homes or businesses
This is our residential service for single family homes and townhomes. For multi-unit buildings and HOA communities, see HOA and apartment complex washing, which uses the same method at a larger scale.
Frequently asked questions
Is a soft wash safe for stucco?
Yes. Soft washing is the recommended way to clean stucco because it uses low pressure. High pressure can chip stucco or push water into it.
Do I need to be home?
Not always, as long as we can reach the exterior and side gates are unlocked. We confirm the details when we schedule.
Will hard water stains come off?
Light sprinkler stains usually lighten with washing. Heavy mineral buildup may need a separate treatment, and we tell you before starting.
How often should a house be washed?
Once a year is typical in Southern California, or before painting, a sale or a big event.
