Black streaks, moss and algae shorten a roof's life and make a home look older than it is. Roof cleaning removes the growth without the damage high pressure causes.
How we do it
Roofs are soft washed, never blasted. A cleaning solution is applied at low pressure to kill algae and moss, given time to work, then rinsed gently. High pressure can strip granules from shingles and crack tile, so we do not use it on roofs. Plants and landscaping below are wet down before and rinsed after, and gutters are checked for debris as we go. Crews only walk where the roof can take it and reach the rest from a ladder or with an extension wand.

Frequently asked questions
Will roof cleaning damage my tiles or shingles?
Not with a soft wash. The damage people worry about comes from high pressure, which we do not use on roofs.
How long do results last?
It depends on shade, trees and moisture. Roofs under trees or on the shady side of a house regrow faster than roofs in full sun.
Do I need to be home for roof cleaning?
Not usually. We confirm access details like gates, pets and parking when we schedule.
Should I clean my roof before selling?
It is not required, but a clean roof photographs better and removes a question buyers might ask.
